Talk #1: Cython: From Zero to AlphaZero

Abstract:
In this talk, we will explore Cython and how it can significantly speed up your Python programs. Through practical examples, we'll demonstrate performance improvements, starting from simple operations like calculating a rolling mean to more complex applications such as Monte Carlo Tree Search-based algorithms, including those used in AlphaZero.
Lightning talks
After the end of the talk we will have 30 minutes of Lightning Talks, where you can join us and share your insights, experiences, ideas, bad jokes, good beer! :)
