Job Description:

The Track and Trace Specialist is responsible for monitoring and managing the movement of goods in transit. This role involves coordinating with drivers, broker, and customers to ensure timely delivery and to provide real-time updates on shipment statuses. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Real-Time Tracking: Monitor and track the status of shipments using GPS and tracking systems. Ensure accurate and timely updates on the location and condition of goods in transit.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide status updates and address any issues that arise during transit.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any logistical issues or delays, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in the tracking system. Filling data for internal organization.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipment statuses and delivery times.
  • Compliance: Ensure all tracking activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the dispatch team, repair shop staff and other departments to optimize the transportation process and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • No experience needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft office and computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with drivers, brokera, customers, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of making decisions under pressure and managing unexpected situations.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing shipment data and tracking information.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-Focused: Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
