2026 DAAD Scholarship for STEM Disciplines Requirements:
For applicants to be considered for the 2026 DAAD Scholarship, they must at least fulfill the following baseline requirements:
- Be a citizen of a developing country
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field
- Demonstrate proficiency in English or German
- Your university degree should not date back more than 6 years at the time of the application deadline.
- Apply for admission to the German university for your chosen study programme is submitted by the due date.
- Your application cannot be considered, if you have been resident in Germany for longer than 15 months at the application deadline.
- You must demonstrate above-average academic performance.
2026 DAAD Study Scholarship in Germany Benefits
DAAD Study scholarship recipients will have
- their tuition fees waived for the 2 years of the Master’s program,
- monthly scholarship payments of 992 euros
- payments toward health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover
- travel allowance
- annual study allowance of 460 euros
- Funding is available for 10 months to 2 years to complete a Master’s degree (full-time, on-campus) at a state or state-recognized university in Germany in the STEM subjects of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering.
