Awards provide students with an opportunity to be educated. So for helping students, the University of Victoria is providing Kalman Award for International Heritage Studies.

The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Victoria who are enrolled in the Diploma in Cultural Resource Management, Graduate Professional Certificate in Cultural Heritage Studies, or any degree program.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Students from all nationalities are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available for students enrolled in:
  • Diploma in Cultural Resource Management
  • Graduate Professional Certificate in Cultural Heritage Studies
  • Any degree program at the University of Victoria
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Be full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate students
    • Have completed a minimum of 12.0 units for credit, with at least 10.5 units graded using the standard nine-point scale in two of the three terms of study in the previous academic year (May to April)
    • Be undertaking an international heritage work or learning experience
    • Meet the academic and program-specific requirements of their respective courses.

How to Apply

  • Have a NetLink ID
  • Go to uvic.ca and sign into your UVic Online tools account using your NetLink ID
  • Select “Student Services” on the top menu
  • Select “Awards and financial aid” under “Finances”
  • Select “View My Student Aid”
  • Enter the Aid Year and Aid Period
  • Select “Accept” on the scholarship(s) you have been offered
