About the role
We are looking for an Architectural Design Assistant.
This is a newly created role within the Property Team to support us in our continued growth and development.
You will assist the Architectural Design Manager with the delivery of drawing packs and information as required on a project-by-project basis. It is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in the delivery of a large number of projects from concept stage through to tender / handover to the construction team.
This is a remote full-time position based in Serbia, with working hours 10am-6pm CET Monday to Friday.

Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Producing drawings including:
- initial studies for internal review / consultant coordination purposes
- planning and building applications
- tender/ handover packages
- Assisting with document control including developing in-house filing and naming conventions, maintaining project folders, and creating issue sheets
- Keep our documents & drawings up to date on the N property portal
- Coordinating information from external consultants e.g. M&E engineers, landscape design to resolve technical issues & integrate proposals into architectural drawings
- Providing general support to the Architectural Design Manager, including the possibility to assist with nursery designs, specifications, and producing marketing / reports (subject to design skills of candidate)
Working experience requirements:
- Experience in the same or similar positions
- Experience working in fast-paced and agile teams is desirable
- Experience working remotely is desirable
About you
Competencies:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Good knowledge of building design and construction methods
- Able to prepare detailed and fully coordinated working drawing packages within agreed timescales
- Able to work on simultaneous projects with a quick turnaround of thorough, detailed, accurate drawings
- Experience in Sketchup and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is desirable
- Willing to learn UK building regulations and statutory processes including Planning & Building Control
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbally, with confidence to communicate with all stakeholders across the business and build effective relationships
- Excellent IT skills, competent with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and other cloud-based systems
- Excellent organisation skills with excellent prioritisation and strong follow-up skills
