Backend Developer - Intern
Job Description
- Support the development of new functionalities on the backend part of the application using Java and Spring Boot framework
- Maintenance and adaptation of existing functionalities
- Collaborate with experienced developers, designers and product managers to implement new features
- Learn how to integrate frontend applications with backend services (RESTful APIs)
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and team discussions
- Explore and propose innovative ideas or improvements
- Gain practical experience working on real projects delivered to global customers
- Learn about architecture, micro-frontends, cloud services, and agile development practices
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Java
- Some initial experience or a strong interest in Spring Boot
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design concepts
- Practical knowledge or a theoretical understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Curiosity to learn more about TypeScript, micro-frontend architecture, and cloud technologies
- Motivated, proactive, and ready to work in an international team
- Good communication skills and enjoyment in collaborative work
- Knowledge of Git (branching, merging, pull requests) is a plus
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory
