About BessRe

Founded in 2018 in Shanghai, BessRe began as a quality control and logistics service provider for solar modules and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Recognizing the growing need for sustainable and specialized end-of-life battery management, we expanded into reverse logistics in 2023. Our expertise spans transportation, commissioning inspection, maintenance, repair, parts replacement, warranty defect monitoring, and recycling management.

In 2025, we launched our European operations, with offices in Belgium and Serbia, supporting our reverse logistics services and representing Geely Farizon electric trucks in the European market.

Internship Objectives

As a Business Development Intern, you will support three key objectives:

1. Identify and shortlist prospective clients, partners, and suppliers
2. Engage and evaluate potential business prospects
3. Contribute to establishing and growing our digital marketing channels

Key Responsibilities

Market Research

• Conduct market analysis on the BESS reverse logistics landscape (maintenance, repair, and recycling) in Europe.
• Identify key players, trends, and competitive benchmarks.
• Research the European electric truck sector, focusing on Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
• Shortlist potential B2B buyers, partners, and fleet operators for Farizon etrucks.

Sales Support

• Prequalify and initiate contact with prospective clients and partners.
• Assist in scheduling, preparing for, and following up on business development meetings.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions related to batteries, EVs, and logistics.

Marketing & Communication

• Assist in developing and executing the company’s digital marketing strategy.
• Help build and maintain BessRe’s online presence across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, company website, newsletters, etc.).
• Support content creation for social media, presentations, and campaigns.

Ideal Profile

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong interest in clean energy, battery technologies, or sustainable logistics.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or German is a plus.
