
We are looking for a motivated and organized HR Generalist Intern to support our Human Resources team across several areas, including Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employer Branding, and Internal Communication, while also assisting with HR administration, onboarding, and related tasks to support Human Resources Manager.
This internship is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain broad knowledge of HR topics and work closely with different HR functions in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for recruitment processes, including:
- creating tickets via internal systems
- updating the internship database
- collecting and tracking information from leadership on whether an internship will proceed within their team
- following up and acting accordingly based on the received information
- Assist the Learning & Development team with training coordination, tracking participation, and preparing materials
- Support Employer Branding activities event support, and collaboration on initiatives that promote the company as an employer
- Support onboarding & offboarding administration, including document preparation, coordination of onboarding activities, communication with new hires, creating/deleting ticket for New Employee Users.
- Assist with general support for our HR Manager:
- Support the HR Manager in daily tasks
- Prepare presentations for internal and external use
- Track tasks and follow up on completion in Excel
- Maintain HR documents accurately and confidentially
- Share tasks with the right HR team members
- Prepare meeting minutes
- Support for purchasing HR materials
- Work with Excel to organize, analyze, and present HR data
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Recent graduate or last year student of Business Administration focused on Human Resources (e.g. Faculty of Organizational Science, Faculty of Economics etc.)
- Interest in Human Resources and willingness to learn about different HR areas
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel:
- You should be comfortable using Excel for basic data handling and reporting, including functions such as: SUM, AVERAGE, IF, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, LEFT / RIGHT / MID, CONCATENATE or TEXTJOIN, TODAY / DATEDIF.
- You should also have basic experience with:
- Pivot Tables
- Sorting and filtering data
- Basic charts and reporting
- Formatting medium/large data sets
