About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Intraday Power Trader to join our team in Belgrade. This role is central to the optimization of our diverse production portfolio, which includes wind, solar, and hydro energy sources. It is ideal for individuals who are keen to develop their career in the energy trading sector, focusing on the South East Europe market. The position is open to candidates with or without previous relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Optimize the production portfolio of wind, solar, and hydro assets to maximize profitability and efficiency.
Execute short-term trading and hedging strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and manage risks.
Monitor real-time power markets and react swiftly to market changes.
Analyze market data, forecasts, and industry trends to inform trading decisions.
Collaborate with the analytics team to enhance trading algorithms and decision-support tools.
Manage a portfolio of power trading contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of managing complex calculations and rapid decision-making.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in English.
Prior experience in energy trading or financial markets is beneficial but not required.
