Job Purpose:

• Our production department needs Production Engineers. The teams consist of about 50 operators and they are divided between 3 engineers.
• The engineer is in charge of leading the scheduling activities, monitoring program execution, monitoring on-filed production performance, supporting the execution team in the resolution of issues, verifying the organization and cleanliness of the work areas, developing and implementing production projects, processes, procedures, instructions and systems in order to meet department’s objectives.

Your Key Challenges are to:

• Implement the department’s section organization, policies, processes, procedures, information systems and cross functional improvement projects in line with corporate standard.
• Define inventory levels considering needs of other processes and scheduling including production requirements (needed days, shifts and machines calculation and item allocation by machine).
• Lead and conduct scheduling activities in coordination with logistics, supervises the development and setup of extrusion scheduling program and human resources allocation.
• Monitor daily program progress, define and undertake appropriated schedule updates to ensure products availability, optimized time and quality results, efficient speed and optimized raw materials and tools consumption and scrap quantities (copper, masterbatch and insulation) generated in order to meet target objectives.
• Collect and review production data, check reported process parameters, changeover and start-up results, wire breaks, overconsumption, control plan results, scrap results; Identify potential parameters discrepancies; propose and implement immediate corrective actions by deploying Fast Problem-Solving technics.
• Follow up closely production execution on the shop floor, performs diagnostic of reported problems within extrusion section (reparation, wire break, overconsumption, work areas organization and cleanliness (5S) etc.), define and support the production execution team in the deployment of immediate corrective actions; Implement and monitor on-field results of defined actions plan.
• Review first and second level maintenance activities of production lines and its related equipment; participate in the development of Term Of references for new technical equipment and tools acquisition; perform technical validation of new acquired equipment and tools.
• Review department’s KPIs and propose accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the Production Department and the Company's objectives.
• Contribute to the development of department’s team (Technical performance evaluation, training, coaching).
• Comply with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements; Comply with corporate values, code of conducts and non-disclosure agreement

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Technical fields (Master is a plus)
• 0-1 year of relevant working experience (in a similar position)
• Some experience with extrusion machines and equipment is an advantage

Language & Software Skills:

• Very good English language skills
• Good MS Office Software skills (Excel, Words, PPT)
