American company hiring work-from-home French speaking International Move Coordinator in Serbia!

An International Move Coordinator is the key customer contact point in any relocation project. This role involves overseeing and arranging all processes involved in relocating transferees and their household goods, from planning routes and scheduling overseas agents to ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, route, and book freight for import/export, specifically USG impelled cargo
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, contracts, tenders, and tariffs
  • Collaborate with overseas agents, international freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers, and port agents as needed
  • Assist with processing all necessary documentation
  • Track and manage shipment schedules
  • Select NVOCCs, port agents, and customs brokers
  • Handle the export clearance of POVs (Personally Owned Vehicles) from the United States, working directly with US Customs & Border Protection
  • Assist with rate filings
  • Assist with quoting OTO (One-Time-Only) rates
  • Support management with various projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in French and English is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Specific industry experience or prior transportation or logistics experience is preferred
  • High level of interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
  • Willingness to work US business hours, depending on the allocated timezone
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet research skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and possessing analytical capabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet daily/weekly/monthly goals
  • Ability to work independently/remotely with a sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude and good team player
